Fleet & Heavy Duty
Fleet and Heavy Duty Truck Service in Rio Grande City, TX
When a work truck is down, it is not an inconvenience, it is lost revenue. We service commercial and emergency vehicles for operators around Starr County, including units that cannot sit waiting for a part all week.

Vehicles we keep running
- Ambulances and emergency response vehicles
- Shuttle buses and passenger vans
- Class 6 through Class 8 trucks and tractors
- Contractor, utility and agricultural work trucks
- Upfitted vehicles with added lighting, inverters and equipment
Why fleets call an electrical shop first
Commercial vehicles carry far more wiring than a passenger car. Emergency lighting, liftgates, PTO controls, inverters, refrigeration, radios and scene lighting all get added to a chassis that was not originally designed around them, usually by more than one installer over the years.
That is exactly the work we do. We trace added circuits, correct upfit wiring that was spliced in badly, and repair the 24-volt starting and charging systems that general repair shops are not equipped to test.
Keeping downtime short
We know which trucks in a small operation cannot be down. Call us before you drop a unit off and we will tell you honestly whether we can get to it that day, what we will need from you, and what the realistic turnaround is. Straight answers about timing are worth more to a fleet than an optimistic promise.
Fleet & Heavy Duty questions we get asked
Do you service 24-volt starting and charging systems?
Yes. We have tested and repaired 12-volt and 24-volt systems since 1997, and it is painted on the side of our building. That covers heavy trucks, buses, ambulances and equipment.
Can you work on emergency lighting and upfit wiring?
Yes. Emergency lighting, scene lighting, inverters, liftgates and other upfitted equipment are a regular part of our work, including correcting installations done poorly by someone else.
Do you offer service accounts for local fleets?
Call the shop and ask for Ana. We work with operators around Starr County on ongoing service and will talk through what arrangement makes sense for the size of your fleet.

Got a problem nobody else could figure out?
That is usually when people call us. Tell us what the vehicle is doing and we will tell you straight whether we can help.
